Join with library workers and supporters to launch the campaign to win civil service protections!

In February, library workers obtained a major victory. After months of attending every city council meeting and joining forces with allies to reach thousands of Memphians, the City Council finally put the ordinance that library workers demanded on the ballot.

Now, it will be up to the people of Memphis to decide this November: should library workers have the same workplace protections as every other division of city government?

You, me, and all of us who want to see more workplace protections and fairness for public workers have something to say about it.

Attend this event to hear from organizers, local leaders, and get plugged into the canvassing campaign to win what will be a historic victory for the multi-racial working class in West Tennessee, all while having a great time.

Simply by showing up, you will help to build momentum to win with this campaign. But by donating now, you can help this committee cover the expenses of this kickoff event and ensure this campaign has the funds it needs to reach thousands of Memphis voters.
